What advice could you give me to manage the stress of the end of the semester?
There is no denying that everyone gets stressed at the end of the semester even those who are well organized. So remember to keep in mind that you are not the only who feels stressed, take a step back and breathe. If the reason you have stress is because you are having difficulty understanding the material then talk to your teacher, they are there to help you. If you’re too shy to talk to your teacher then ask a friend who is in the class. If the reason you are stressed is because you have a lot of assignments due then try and organize your time so that you are not doing it all last minute. That is probably the worst thing you can do. Just remember the semester is almost over which means soon you can just relax and sleep.
Sometimes I feel like nothing is worth the while. How do you find the motivation to boost yourself and to be active every single day?
By having something to look forward to. If you are having a bad week but you know that there is something exciting to look forward to on the weekend, you will be more motivated. It could either be doing something fun with your friends or finally getting to watch that movie on Netflix that you haven’t had time because your teachers decided that this week they were going to give you five assignments each. But if the weekend is too far away, try and plan something for the week like eating a special lunch or reading a book on your way to and from school. Small things that make you happy can help you be motivated and give you a boost of energy. Now if you are talking about motivation to work out the same logic applies. Give yourself small goals that way you are happier when you reach them rather than give yourself a large goal and feel disappointed when you are not able to reach it.
