Getting to know…the Archivist!

Isabelle Couriel-Ploumi

Howdy! No, I’m not a cowboy (despite always saying howdy and y’all). Although, that’d be pretty cool. I’m the Archivist! I organize the filing cabinet in our clubroom, and make sure we have a copy of each issue we print.

More personally, I am in ALC and love to do art in all sorts of mediums. I can’t pick just one to stick with since I love to experiment with new things, but I tend to write and draw more since they are more convenient than sculpting or painting. Most recently I got into the tedious task of candle making.

I am very much in love with nature, seeing all animals as friends, especially bees. My pride and joy are my plants which are currently residing in my room for the winter. They have a grow light, and I give them plenty of water (to those that need it) and love. My latest accomplishment has been growing four avocado plants from the pit.

My main hobby is playing D&D with my friends. I am a big fan of stories and storytelling, so reading and writing things for the game is very fun. It is unique in that sense; all the stories are collaborative, which adds some things you would never expect to the mix.

Anyway, if you want to know more about me, come by the clubroom, I’m always there if I’m not in class. Don’t worry, I don’t bite.
