indigo sky,
the start of something new
romantic escapades
light old flames anew
fireflies dance
in the dimly-lit night
a mesmerizing spectacle,
i watch as they take flight
the scent of wisterias,
brought forth by the wind
took me back to a time
when neither one of us had sinned
desolation, discretion,
despair, and deceit
awoken by mere passion
feels so bittersweet
