Gasping breaths on breaths
Fingers running circles
where they’re not
supposed to go

Clinging tighter, sighing louder,
Blood rushing like a crashing current

My lips are biting the skin I’m scratching
My hair is being held We’re both enjoying
The night ignoring
The laws that we’ve upheld
