Playbills

By Zoe Shaw (Editor-in-Chief)

We knew her as the woman whose
garage was filled
with dozens of Broadway playbills
and dresses from the eighties,
too small for her now.

She hadn’t worked a day
in her life, too proud to admit
her acting career couldn’t take off.
Every other month, she’ll go
see a show, knowing
exactly how she would have
portrayed Christine, Fantine,
Sandy, Johanna, and Velma Kelly

Thirty years ago.
