SUJAC Update

Hey everyone!

We know how rough the first two weeks of the semester can be! No more late nights… no more sleeping in… It can be tough to get over, but hopefully you’ve already adjusted to your new schedules.

First of all, your SUJAC Executives want to thank you for showing up to Winterfest, our end of semester party held last December. It was a total success and we hope you had a blast! Thanks to you, SUJAC raised $600 through ticket sales to help struggling students at John Abbott through the College Foundation.

There is no better feeling than helping out our College community. You can all give yourselves a pat on the back for this! 🙂

Get ready because SUJAC has a lot planned for February. On Thursday, February 11th, the Agora will be home to the SUJAC Club Day. CSKY will be playing live and, if the Campus Radio is your interest, find out how to get involved. You can also check out the campus newspaper, Bandersnatch, and find out how you can submit articles or help out with other aspects of the newspaper!
Come see what your variety of clubs have to offer and maybe sign up for one of these too. They’re a fun way to get involved on campus. Also, SUJAC will have some of your student reps on hand for you to meet and find out more about becoming a student leader on Congress or the upcoming Student Executive Elections! SUJAC Club Day will last from 10 to 3. Also, we are hosting the SUJAC Open House at our office in Penfield-101, from Tuesday, February 16th to Thursday, February 18th. Come visit! There will be coffee and cookies on the house.

Don’t forget to follow us on social media if you haven’t already started. Add us at “SUJACsnap” and use our brand new Snapchat geofilter available anywhere on campus. Congratulations and thank you to Nicolas Roy, the winner of our recent contest, for making such a “lit” filter for us. Stay up to date and follow our Facebook Page (fb.com/yourSUJAC) for more news!
