Hello to new and returning students.
Welcome to the Fall semester! With a new team, the Student Union of John Abbott College (SUJAC) is motivated and excited to improve life on campus. We promote and protect student rights, we help run student clubs and activities, we oversee the allocation of student funds and we strive to enhance student development and potential for success in the College and in the community. Now, what can SUJAC do for you?
We encourage you to download the new JAC App on your smartphones (as advertised on the first floor of the AME Science Building). It has many useful tools that will enhance your CEGEP experience. With a newsfeed that allows you to voice your thoughts and ideas, the App connects SUJAC with other students and it allows us to work together; it is the best online communication platform to get in contact with us.
Be prepared for SUJAC Club Day on September 26th from 10 am to 3 pm in the Agora, where you can find out more about your Student Union, ask questions and sign up for a club after meeting the club leaders!
If you are confronted by any problems, or if you have questions or ideas you would like to share, please come see us at the SUJAC Office (Penfield 101), a welcoming place for students. We are here to listen and to help you.
Let’s work together and see positive change.
The SUJAC Team:
President Andrew Stein
VP Internal Lathan Walker
VP Academic Elizabeth Yasa
VP Finance Mona Masri
VP External Sonia Agougou
