SUJAC UPDATE

SUJAC would like to start by revealing the eagerly awaited news: the library is finally open! Even though the entirety of the library is not yet available to students, you can still enjoy the quiet study space that the library has to offer.

In other news, students could relax and stay home on February 7th when a snowstorm hit Montreal and caused all classes to be cancelled. However, that day will be re-scheduled, and you will be notified about it.

On January 31st, the Strategic Planning Town Hall took place at the cafeteria, and now, the staff needs to hear the student voice: a vote on Omnivox will take place, in which you will be able to choose what goals the College should set for the next 5 years. This happens only once every 5 years, so this is your time if you want your voice to be heard, and to have a real impact on the College.

SUJAC wants to remind you that the drinks at the Oval are still discounted, and will remain that way for the rest of the semester. Furthermore, the bagels will also be a dollar discounted once every two weeks, so you only have to eat breakfast at home one week out of two! SUJAC also offers 10% off at Cunningham’s (food only) and alternating every 2 weeks there will be discounts on the club sandwiches and salads.

Finally, if you want to know more about what’s cooking at SUJAC, or just want to tell us some ideas that would help improve student life here at John Abbott, don’t hesitate to follow us on Instagram (@instasujac) or on Snapchat (sujacsnap).

The Student Union is always happy to hear from students, and hope that the students are as happy when they hear from us too!
