The short yard plays on the week that was in the League

Chargers 20- Titans 19
Though the game was being played in London, the Titans’ coach, Vrabel, seemed to think they were playing in Vegas, based on the size of the gamble he took, which saw his team go home with the loss.

Panthers 21- Eagles 17
If the Eagles could have flown as high as their pregame tempers did, we would be talking about another victorious home team. Instead, the Panthers bore their claws in all facets of the day.

Vikings 37- Jets 17
The Jets may have been dressed in money but their play was the complete opposite. They become the seventh victim of Adam Thielen’s 100-yard games.
Colts 37- Bills 5
The Buffalo Bills switched to their third starting QB this week, and after their lackluster performance, one has to wonder if the fourth starter will be a buffalo wing in a jersey, because that just might be the struggling team’s best option.

Patriots 38- Bears 31
The Pats rolled in to take the Win out of Windy City, but not without a late-game scare from a Mitch Trubisky Haily Mary that landed a yard short.

Buccaneers 26- Browns 23
The Browns got themselves to the extra frame for the fourth time this year, and while they may not all get converted to wins, I’m sure the Dawg Pound will take it over their traditional blowouts of years past.

Texans 20- Jaguars 7
Anyone heard from Jalen Ramsey lately? Us neither. The star corner has had nothing to chirp about as his Jags morph into the Hello Kitties of the league with each passing week.

Lions 32- Dolphins 21
The Dolphins looked like fish out of water in their home tank as they let the Lions claw their way back to .500.

Saints 24- Ravens 23
Brees can’t stop and won’t stop breaking records. By snapping the Ravens’ wings, the Saints’ QB has officially beaten every single team in the NFL and is only the third to ever do so.

Redskins 20- Cowboys 17
Maher bashed the ball off the post on a potentially-tying field goal to allow the most controversially named team in pro-sports to hold on to top spot.

Rams 39- 49ers 10
Seven sacks sealed the seventh win for the biggest Super Bowl threats of this season.
