Upside Down

I long to see what’s up there; being stuck down here simply cannot be all there is. I have heard stories of a world up above, and I will see it with my own eyes one day. Can you imagine living in a world in which people live rightside up? Would they think that we live upside down? Sometimes I like to sit on my ceiling and ponder this to myself. I think it’s time I tried to do something about it. I am going to take my shovel, and dig! Dig up so much and so hard until I see what’s up there. I wonder… maybe somebody else up there is trying to dig down and find us? What if we’re both digging at the same time? What if our paths cross? That would be crazy! I’d love to meet someone from up there. Wait…. What if there is another me, except right side up? Could we switch places? We could totally see the world from another. point of view. I would love for that to happen!

I’m so bored here, I just want to see something new… something exciting! Imagine finding a whole new world to explore.

Maybe I should just start digging, and stop talking about it. I’m not going to find a new world by sitting around and thinking about it. Okay… Here it goes! I am going to grab my shovel and dig up; I am going to say goodbye. I am onto a more upright future.
