Doge

6:42 the humans’ paws outstretch
and I almost fall off the bed you
forgot I was here again

7:37 you are 7 minutes late so
you just take me around the circle-thing you used to
always bring me treats when we walked

11:19 I’ve been lying here for three hours
while dreaming of a pool full of
stuffed ducks, yellow (but of course I wouldn’t know)

3:26 staring contest with the
human sitting on the mantel why
does it never move lazy.

5:39 it’s the sound! the sound
that means hugs and kisses and
running in the snow! oh boy!

9:07 the humans are sitting on the couch so
I snuggle up on the fuzzy throw I know
they will always love each other more
