SUJAC Congress: Making JAC Better

Eric (Eni) Enescu

Another year, another set of congress deputies. In case you didn’t already know, JAC has a Student Congress, specifically for us, the students. They are there to represent the students, clubs and comities in the matter of decision making. They are there to represent you and your ideas and opinions.
Congress meets roughly once a week to discuss various subjects of immediate concern. These are often brought up by the congress members throughout the week and discussed during the meetings. What is subject to discussion is not restricted to what the members think. If you have an idea of how to improve the school, this is probably one of the simplest ways to do it. You can go to the SUJAC office in P-101 and write down your idea, but please remember to sign your name so that you can be contacted if we need to contact you for more details.
As an example of what can be achieved by congress, not long ago, wifi wasn’t very good at JAC. After a congress meeting, the wheels started to turn to get the much improved infrastructure in place today.
In summary, SUJAC is there to help and represent you, the student. Do not be afraid to make the school a better place.
