SUJAC Update
Hey Abbott,
The grass is turning green, the snow is finally melting, and although it’s still too cold for outdoor events, we have plenty of upcoming events to occupy ourselves with! We hope you’re enjoying Multicultural Week!
Please stop by the Canada booth for some fun facts and pancakes! Thank you to all who are showcasing their cultures!
Be sure to keep an eye out for some upcoming Omnivox Earth Day news.
In other news, @insta. JAC is starting up its April Contest (it’s going to be a big finale), so grab your cameras and capture your campus! Also, the Confederation of Anglophone CEGEPs (COAC) is becoming more involved this semester.
Haven’t heard of it? Here’s why you should have: It’s comprised of representatives from the student unions of Vanier, Dawson, Marianopolis, John Abbott, Champlain St. Lambert, and Champlain Lennoxville, who meet once per month.
COAC exists to keep up a dialogue, to discuss mutual problems, and to plan mutual events between our CEGEPs. This month, SUJAC hosted the COAC meeting and the main topics discussed were austerity, a COAC talent show, and a possible Inter-Collegial Film Festival. COAC also has a big announcement in the works, that SUJAC will be announcing shortly! For any questions, SUJAC-related or otherwise, feel free to stop by P-101.
Study hard, and remember we’re all in this together,
Your SUJAC Executives
