SUJAC Update – September 10th

Hey Abbotteers!

The fall semester is now in full swing, and the halls are filled with the hustle and bustle of students going about their daily routines. We kickstarted our great semester with the annual outdoor barbeque enjoying soda, hotdogs, and treats and spending time with friends.

SUJAC is proud to announce the new student congress for this year; we had a great turnout, and congress is filled with many students who are passionate about improving their school community. They will be able to represent and voice the concerns and comments of their peers and the whole student body.

The Board of Governors elections for the two students who will represent the student body on the highest decision making body of the college will be taking place on September 23rd. Keep an eye on the Portal for more information on how to vote. If you will not be around, advanced polling will take place in the SUJAC Office (P-101) on September 18th between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm.

Excitement is in the air as the new Tim Horton’s is scheduled to open mid-semester, and that date is fast approaching. Do not forget to stop by once it is open to pick up and enjoy a piping hot coffee!
All-in-all the semester is racing forward so don’t forget take a moment to relax and smell the roses!
