What Really Happened in 2012

With every apocalypse, Judgment Day, or Ragnarok our generation has lived through, there is no doubt it resulted in a society that is either immortal or increasingly apathetic to the shouts of conspiracy theorists. While all claims of a coming end of the world have germinated no premature end for the human race, there is a case in “recent” memory that has been entirely miscredited as one of these false extinction events. This reference would be to the end of the Mayan Calendar, calculated to have ended on the 21st of December 2012.
Mayan culture has unfortunately been severely misrepresented. It is a culture of creation, not destruction. The Maya were able astronomers. Even today, modern astronomers are only rediscovering what the ancients had already known. Recently, something that the ancients were aware of and modern science has only just been able to prove is that Earth wobbles in a process every twenty-six thousand years. Our planet spends thirteen thousand years pointing in one direction and another thirteen thousand pointing in the other, away and towards the center of the galaxy. An open mind is required; neither accept nor dismiss what you are about to read. Simply process.
This wobble, as it points toward and away from the galactic center, holds a direct tie to the rise and fall of human consciousness. Thousands of years ago, humanity created great things and fantastic wonders of the world. Prime examples of which are Stonehenge, the Pyramids, the Tower of Babel, and The Hanging Gardens of Babylon, gigantic monoliths of awe and uncertain fabrication. These were complex feats of engineering and skill. Afterwards, humans slowly stopped doing these things but they continued to think. Greek philosophers came first, and those who came after simply echoed their predecessors. This was a time where consciousness descended, and continued to descend. For a time humans stopped thinking altogether, having been sapped of free will by large controlling religious institutions. Humans had reached the lowest levels of human consciousness.
Since then, consciousness has been on a steady upwards climb. This is a slow process over the course of a thousand years. The Maya knew all this, and were able to put a date on a particular point of transition on the 21st of December 2012. For more information on this, visit thespiritscience.net.
