I’m a virgin but my boyfriend is not. I know that I’m still not ready to have sex but he seems to be pushy about the subject. I really like him and do not want to break up. What should I do?
It’s not about what you should do; it’s more what he should do. He should be respecting your feelings and should stop pushing for sex. If he really cared about you then he would care about your views on this topic and allow you to take as much time as you need to feel ready. He should also know that the more he pushes the less likely you will actually want to have sex with him. There is no shame in being a virgin and still not feeling ready for sex. In fact, you should be proud of the fact that you have not given in to peer pressure and just had sex because everyone else has. If sex is something that means a lot to you, try and explain this to him and how you feel about him being pushy on the subject. You should not be afraid that he will break up with you, because if this is the reason that ends the relationship, then good riddance. He was not your prince in shining armor, but do not worry. One day he will arrive and who knows, he may even be riding a horse.
Lately I feel that I’m always tired, which makes no sense, because I tend to get a good amount of sleep. How can I stop feeling like a walking zombie?
First off, if you actually are a zombie, I hear that brains ain’t that tasty, especially those of young advice-giving women. But in all seriousness, it’s not all about getting the proper eight hours of sleep. It’s also about taking care of your body and mind. I think people forget that eating junk all the time will have an impact on your body, so you need to remember to eat healthy. I’m not saying that having a piece of chocolate cake every once and a while will kill you, cause if it did then I’d be a goner. Aside from eating those healthy products, it’s also about not having stress 24/7. I know that seems impossible at times, especially if you are juggling work, school, and relationships, but it is very possible. You just can’t let all that stuff get to the point where you hurt your body over it. The most important thing is to make sure your body and mind are always at 100%, so make sure you are your number one priority or else walking around like a zombie could be the least of your worries.
