On the morning of November 22nd, 2024, Pulitzer Prize winner Kendrick Lamar released his surprise new album “GNX.” Kendrick Lamar has had a productive year, performing the half-time show at this year’s Superbowl and his notorious beef with rapper Drake. GNX is his first album since his departure from the longtime label Top Dawg Entertainment with which he has become synonymous. Critics are saying that it is the greatest work of his career, and fans are rejoicing with the release of a new album. Whether or not it is his best is to be discussed among listeners over time, but one thing is certain: Drake will never recover.
