SUJAC Update

Welcome back Abbotteers to another semester and New Year where everything can begin afresh.

Maybe you took part in the ski trip, or went on your own adventurous vacation. In any case, we hope your holiday season was filled with joy and that the happiness you experienced then will not disappear with a new semester. The first week back to school had the brand new renovated Agora filled each day with various comedians, hypnotists, and cheers of laughter. We hope you enjoyed the welcome back events and even had a chuckle yourself.

Take note that the course drop deadline is Friday, February 13th, a useful date to pencil into your agenda. Remember John Abbott offers various free services. If you are ever in need for a free tutor for virtually any subject, then stop by the library basement to check out the Academic Success Tutoring Centre.

The Congress nomination period has now opened, if you are interested in joining your Student Union then drop by P-101 and pick up a nomination form. If getting involved, learning about the community around you, organizing events, and giving back interest you then come and sign up.

We would like to congratulate Matthew Kocherha on being elected the new SUJAC Vice President External for the winter semester 2015. With all this being said, welcome back, and do not be afraid to get out there and make the best of the new year and new semester.
