Dear Bandersnatch readers, I hope you are all doing well.
Today’s tip is very clear, very simple. Just like said in the title. People, if you want clear, smooth, poreless glass skin, WEAR YOUR SUNSCREEN!!!
Wearing your sunscreen is one of the most important steps in your skincare routine. You should not skip it. Yes, you should be wearing your sunscreen everyday!
The sunlight is composed of 2 special UV rays, UVA rays and UVB rays. UVA rays cause premature skin aging like wrinkles and loose skin and skin concerns like hyperpigmentation and brown spots on the face. UVB rays cause skin cancer and skin diseases.

By applying sunscreen on your skin, you are avoiding all of those harmful consequences. Wearing sunscreen reduces the risk of skin cancer and reduces skin irritation and premature skin aging.
Now, you may be wondering which sunscreen suits you best, which one is better for you. There are 2 types of sunscreen: Chemical sunscreen and Mineral sunscreen.
1. Chemical Sunscreen: Chemical sunscreen absorbs the sunlight and transforms it into heat. These sunscreens are lighter and get absorbed easily by the skin.
2. Mineral Sunscreen: Mineral sunscreen sits on top of the skin and blocks the sunlight. These sunscreens are usually thicker and leave a white cast on the skin.
There is not a better type of sunscreen. They both protect well from the sunlight.
Here are the factors you should always look for in a sunscreen:
Non-comedogenic: This term, on products, means it does not clog pores. Look for this term on sunscreen in order for it not to clog your pores.
Oil-free: Avoid adding excess oil onto your skin, especially if you have oily or combination skin. It will prevent you from breaking out.
Lightweight formulas: Look for products that absorb quickly and don’t leave a heavy residue on the skin.
Broad-spectrum protection: Ensure that the sunscreen protects against both UVA and UVB rays for maximal protection.
A small tip I use when applying sunscreen is that I always moisturize my skin before applying sunscreen. This way, it does not clump up on my skin.
I hope everyone listens to this beauty recommendation. You may think it is a small step, but it has a big impact on your skin.
