After Hour Library Shenanigans

It was a warm November evening at John Abbott College, as seven club members were preparing to leave John Abbott College on Monday. They were coming up the stairs, about to pass by the library when, in the far distance… “HEEEEELP!!!” Corey was locked in the library.

Corey had been napping in the library, and with unfortunate timing, had gone to the bathroom while security was doing their routine check at 6:00pm to close up the library. His mother was going to pick him up, however, he couldn’t leave the school. While Corey was trapped in the library, his mother went to go ask for help from security. Within that time, members of the Arts and Crafts club and Bandersnatch just happened to pass by and hear Corey’s echoing yell. They stood outside the library laughing, but concerned and confused as to how Corey found himself in this position. They stood away, not wanting to leave Corey alone (also because they found this mildly entertaining, and wanted to see if and when security actually showed up). Within a few minutes, security showed up and went in to retrieve him. The security guard took a few minutes to ask him questions, such as his name and where he was when security was closing up. After a long eventful night, Corey was finally released from the shackles of the John Abbott library.

Thanks to Corey’s experience, we can adopt the inspirational message: Don’t fall asleep in the library after hours.
