Ask Alice
Do you think people can change?
Let’s look at the facts. We release people from prison. We constantly strive to better ourselves. Yes, indeed, we believe that people can change. Change for the better as well as for the worst. Are you the same person as you were five years ago? Last year? Last week? I don’t think so. We rely on evolution. As Heraclitus said, “change is the only constant in life”. The real question being: do you buy it?
I need help but don’t know how to get advice from my peers. What is the best way to approach them?
If you need advice on a topic where your peers are unapproachable, consider getting advice somewhere else. Academic advisors, counselors, teachers, and even your parents might be able to help you with what you need. However, if this a strictly peer related matter, try approaching someone you trust so you don’t get humiliated, I would avoid a big group unless you are sure they won’t make you feel bad.
