Twelve years after the first season, the beloved series has come to an end. “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” season 7 is now on Disney+, where a new episode has been released every Friday since February 21th.

This seventh season takes place shortly before “Revenge of the Sith”. The first story arc is about Captain Rex, Commander Cody and other clones that were present in the previous seasons. However, other characters such as Mace Windu, Obi-wan Kenobi and Padme Amidala also make appearances.

The new season is not just a new story with old characters, it also introduces new characters: “The Bad Batch”, a section of clones different from the others. They are physically different because they have mutations.

They are also known as the Clone Force 99, which is a touching reference to a former clone named “99” who died on Camino in season 3. “The Bad Batch” is interesting because it allows us to see the differences that exist between the clones. It shows the uniqueness and the personality of each clone which is an important element of the series.

As of other characters’ appearances. Their appearance evolved to match up the appearance of the character that are both in The Clone Wars and in the movie “Revenge of the Sith”.  For example, Anakin Skywalker has longer hair in season 7 than he does in season 6. He also looks “darker” than before. This appearance is closer to the appearance of Anakin in “Revenge of the Sith”. This does not happen without reason as the clone wars ends at the beginning of the movie.
