Those who know know. And to those who don’t, hello, I write stuff that I consider potential songs :) This one is kinda Valentine's day themed I guess?
 
Existing in the background 
Watching her come in the room 
She doesn’t talk to me
 Unless it’s about that one show 
That all our friends know 

She didn’t ask me about my day 
Why would she care?
 I don’t even know her that well 

But why is she my new obsession? 

And it all began 
Because he mentioned it 
As a suggestion 

Because all my friends are dating 
And I just—
 Fucking want
 Some affection 
that’s beyond platonic 
But that might be ‘cause 
I crave attention 
It’s not a crush, I say
 But nay, it might be (or not) 

They said my cheeks were red 
when she was mentioned
 She doesn’t even know me that well 
It’s not going to happen 
I don’t know what to do about this idea 
Is it a crush or—
 What the heck, no
 
She’s just a girl I want to know about, 
I think...
